The IF Forum 2024, held from 21 to 23 October at the Olympic Museum in Lausanne, set records with over 425 delegates participating in three days of impactful discussions and strategic networking. The forum’s theme, “Ensuring Your IF is Match Fit and Future-Ready,” resonated throughout sessions that delivered actionable insights and fostered meaningful collaborations. A newly released highlights video showcases key moments from this year’s edition.
Alain Zobrist, CEO at Swiss Timing, featured in the video, emphasised the forum’s value: “The IF Forum is a great platform; it allows for brainstorming and exchanges in a great way, hopefully providing significant added value to International Federations and the whole Olympic Movement.”
Kirsty Burrows, Head of the Safe Sport Unit at the IOC, highlighted the event’s atmosphere and its emphasis on health alongside technological advancements: “For me, the fantastic thing about the IF Forum has been the collegial atmosphere, how central health was to the agenda. Sport and health go hand in hand; it’s part of the entire Olympic Movement.”

The IF Forum will return for another edition at the Olympic Museum from 27-29 October 2025.

The International Federation Forum (IF Forum) takes place annually and addresses the specific needs of Olympic and non-Olympic International Federations. The Forum is focused on sharing best practice and knowledge on critical topics. The three-day event is organised by SportAccord and open to International Federations including members of ASOIF, WOF, ARISF and AIMS. The IF Forum 2024 gathered more than 400 leaders from the IOC, IFs, sports business leaders, and exclusive IF Forum partners.
