Richard Tolley

Richard Tolley is the Deputy Leader of Marsh’s Global Sports and Events Industry Practice.

He has over 35 years’ experience in the insurance industry having held senior positions with both insurers and brokers. Most recently he has been responsible for the development and oversight of Marsh’s insurance and risk management solutions for the sports and events sector. He specialises in the provision of risk management solutions and insurance programme design for sports and events.

His experience includes advising; 10 Olympic Games, 4 FIFA World Cups, 3 Commonwealth Games, 2 Rugby and Cricket World Cups, European Games, 20+ International Federations of Sport and multiple National Governing Bodies, football clubs, leagues and other global events.

Based in the UK, he plays golf and is a long standing season ticket holder at AVFC.
