Matt Lord

Matt Lord is the Director of Technology & Digital System at SailGP. He is responsible for the technology and digital development and delivery, and oversees major projects for the organisation.

Lord joined SailGP after spending more than 20 years working within sports technology, having held senior roles at organisations including sports governing bodies, Olympic  Organising Committees and software houses.

He has extensive strategic experience from across business and digital transformation as well as change management, and now supports teams across the organisation to translate business needs into technology based solutions.

An avid believer in the power of sport, away from work Matt will more often than not be found at the side of a court, a pitch or a pool cheering on his two young children.
