Leandro Larrosa, an Argentine communications and marketing specialist, has been Digital Engagement and Marketing Director at the IOC since May 2022.

With a wide-ranging background, he has gained invaluable experience within the Olympic Movement. His engagement dates back to 2010, when he took the lead in the Buenos Aires bid to host the IOC Session in 2013, subsequently acting as CEO of the event organisation. He then directed the campaign that successfully secured the right to stage the 2018 Youth Olympic Games. His journey eventually led him to assume the role of CEO of the Organising Committee for the 2018 Buenos Aires YOG.

His career has spanned various areas, including brand creation and transformation for brands such as Teleser, Heliser and IP Games Computer Services. Before his role at the IOC, he held positions such as General Director for Institutional Images and Political Advisor to the Argentinian Vice-President, and Director of Communications and Technology for the Province of Buenos Aires. His reputation as an international entrepreneur further underscores his achievements.

Larrosa’s career is a testament to his combination of entrepreneurial skills and strategic marketing finesse, making contributions that extend beyond the borders of Olympism.
