Isabella Burczak is the Cycling for All & Sustainability Manager at the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI), the world governing body of cycling, where she has been working since 2017.

She manages the Federation’s initiatives and partnerships to promote cycling for all, in addition to the implementation of its sustainability vision: “to make cycling one of the world’s most sustainable sports and promote the bicycle as a key transport mode in combating climate change, improving population health and building a more sustainable future for all”.

She works with cities and regions, National Federations, NGOs and international advocacy organisations to promote cycling as an accessible and sustainable means of transport and a healthy recreational activity, and oversees the development of strategies to ensure elite cycling can drive and inspire wider participation and social impact.

Isabella previously worked for the International Olympic Committee, within the IOC Sports Department, where she was involved in the operational delivery of five editions of the Olympic Games between 2006 and 2016.
