Chris Oberlehner

Chris Oberlehner was elected IFA Secretary General in 2019.  The International Fistball Association (IFA) is the global sports association for Fistball, consisting of 68 national federations.

As Sports Manager he has been administrating and serving at international sport events and sporting networks for more than 10 years, including the UEFA Euro 2024, FIFA and the German Bobsleigh and Tobogganing Federation. He served as marketing and sponsoring director of Austrian football Bundesliga team SV Ried, as well as for a football consulting company in Munich.

He started his career at IFA as Administrative Director in January 2017 serving as the first fulltime employee of IFA. He was appointed as Competition Manager for several events like for the World Games 2017 and 2022 as well as different World Championships and was organizer of different Fistball events like European or World Championships.

He holds a master’s degree in Sports and Event management and completed his studies of Business Administration at University Seeburg Castle in Austria.
