Anne-Sophie Thilo OLY
Born in Lausanne (Switzerland) in 1987, Anne-Sophie Thilo is a former professional sailor, with a notable presence in the Swiss Sailing National Team spanning 12 years. With a rich sporting background including the Youth European Championship titles and an Olympic Games participation in Beijing 2008, Anne-Sophie Thilo’s prowess extends beyond the sea.
Equally accomplished in academia, she holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Communication Sciences, complemented by a Master of Advanced Studies in Sport Administration and Technology (AISTS). Post-retirement, her dedication to charitable causes and youth development through sports shines through her involvement in various organisations, including her own communication consulting company, Ekkut. Her dedication to effective communication is epitomised by her motto: “To communicate well, you have to first listen to your audience.”
