Heike Grösswang

Heike Größwang is an accomplished professional with a strong background in sports management and the Olympic movement. Her career began at RGS, specialising in sports marketing for bobsleigh, skeleton, and luge. From 1995 to 2010, she served as Managing Director, overseeing international events and sponsorship strategies for the International Luge Federation (FIL).

In 2010, Heike’s pivotal move to the Fédération Internationale de Bobsleigh et de Tobogganing led to significant modernisation efforts, including rebranding it as the International Bobsleigh and Skeleton Federation in 2015. She became the full-time Secretary General of the IBSF in 2012, securing major sponsorships and streamlining the organisation.

Heike has been extensively involved in the Olympic movement since 1992, contributing to various IOC commissions. In 2020, she took on the role of Secretary General for the Association of International Olympic Winter Sports Federations (AIOWF).
