Elisabeth Maier OLY

Elisabeth Maier has emerged as a dynamic figure in the world of sports. In February 2023, she was elected as the Co-Chairperson of the Athletes Committee Skeleton, where her focus lies in fostering open communication with athletes, understanding their concerns, and championing initiatives in line with the IOC Athletes Declaration. Elisabeth also strives for the creation of a comprehensive Athletes Committee Charter and improved communication channels. Her commitment to sports administration is evident as she pursues an Executive Masters in Sport Organisation Management (MEMOS).

Beyond her administrative role, Elisabeth, who is Canadian, has a significant sports background, making her World Cup debut in the winter of 2014/2015. She is also an active member of the IOC Athletes Declaration Steering Committee, contributing to the development of the sports community.
