Marzena Bogdanowicz
Marzena Bogdanowicz, Head of Marketing and Commercial for Women’s Football at The Football Association, has been instrumental in transforming women’s football in the UK. Since joining in 2016, she successfully doubled participation and fanbase by 2021, secured the 2021 UEFA Women’s Euro hosting, and led dynamic marketing campaigns. This resulted in record-breaking attendance, propelled the women’s game into the limelight, and attracted major investments, including a multi-million-pound deal with Barclays.
Marzena’s background includes being the Director of Marketing at the British Olympic Association, where she pioneered the Team GB brand. She also ran her sports marketing consultancy, worked on large-scale events, and served in various non-executive roles. Now, her focus is on the “Inspire Positive Change” strategy to further elevate women’s and girls’ football.
