Sporting Equals is a leading independent race equality charity working in the sport and physical activity sector. It was set up as a fully independent charity in 2007 and works as a System Partner with Sport England, Sport Scotland & Active Partnerships; as well as organisations including Peloton, Comic Relief, Mind, Sky Sports News and Sweaty Betty Foundation.
Key projects and impacts Sporting Equals has made include the Race Representation Index, Race Discrimination Support Service, Sporting Equals Awards, the End BAME Campaign and LeaderBoard. Through these and other projects Sporting Equals is driving change in sport and physical activity.
