The Islamic Solidarity Sports Association (ISSA) is an independent organization with a legal personality affiliated with the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC). Its headquartered in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, with a membership of 57 member NOCs.
ISSA fosters the development of sports ecosystems within Islamic countries. The organization achieves this through several key initiatives, including organizing multi-sport events, encouraging sports academia and research, and striving to integrate Islamic values, culture, and traditions into the global sports movement.
