Birmingham is a modern city with a rich sports history. Along with our enthusiasm and hospitality, Birmingham’s resume includes state of the art facilities, a convenient international airport and the additional infrastructure needed to host world-class events.
Birmingham has hosted large multi-sports events including the 2022 World Games which had 3600 athletes competing in 34 sports with 100 countries represented. Additionally, we will host the 2025 World Police and Fire Games which will include 10,000 athletes competing in over 60 sports with 60 countries represented.
