Pierre Galy

Pierre Galy, head of AFP sport department (one hundred journalists working in 6 languages all over the world) since September 2023. 

 Formally general sport and rugby correspondent until 2007, then Deputy Head of Sport. 

Deputy Head of General News Service (2020-2023), before moving back to the sports department where he supervises, among others, the organization – along with the big events direction—and the coverage of the coming events (Euro, Copa America, Tour de France, Olympics and Paralympics etc.).
