Triple Olympian triathlete for South Africa Integrity Manager, World Sailing

Gillian Sanders OLY is a triple Olympian having competed in triathlon at the London 2012, Rio 2016 & Tokyo 2020 Games. 

 Gillian is a lawyer and began her legal career in private practise in South Africa before relocating to the UK where she also worked in private practise. 

 Since retiring from professional sport in 2021 after the delayed Tokyo Olympics, Gillian has worked as a lawyer in Sports Dispute Resolution & lead on the Sport Integrity Service (a 1st of its kind in the UK – an independent, confidential reporting line and investigation service for abuse, bullying, harassment, discrimination etc.). She is now the Integrity Manager at World Sailing, forming part of the Legal Team, leading on Safeguarding, Anti Doping and other Integrity matters for the International Federation.
