Georg Spazier

Georg Spazier is an international executive in sports events management and marketing with a broad experience in Sponsoring, Brand Management, Communications & Digital Media and destination development. He has successfully transferred the 2012 Youth Olympic Games Organising Committee Company into a knowledge Transfer Hub for the entire Region of Tirol. After the youth Olympic Games in 2012 he has been overlooking the acquisition and execution of international (multi-)sports events in the busiest winter sport region of Europe and has also developed youth sport initiatives such as the Tyrolean School Winter Games or the Freestyle days.

The International Childrens Games 2016 the UCI Road World Championships in September of 2018 or the world record event with the most participants ever at a multi-winter sport event the Winter Masters Games in 2020. Since 2020 he is running his own Agency based in Innsbruck with which he organizes the largest mountain bike festival in Europe and holds accounts for brands, destinations and host cities. After Tokyo and Beijing he will also continue his IOC-Advisor role for Paris 2024.
