David Eades
David spent three decades as a frontline presenter and broadcaster for the BBC, filling the posts of Europe Correspondent, Ireland Correspondent and Senior Sports News Correspondent, before becoming Chief Presenter on BBC TV News and World Channels.
He also presented BBC Radio 4’s flagship show ‘The World Tonight’, and has
He has covered stories as wide-ranging as the death of Princess Diana, to the Peace Process in Northern Ireland, to FIFA World Cups, Olympic Games, and the death of Nelson Mandela.
He has a very strong track record as an MC and moderator at national and international events taking him around the world to cover issues within Industry, Sport, Environment & Climate.
David is a fluent French speaker, a good German speaker, a keen golfer and cyclist.
He is also a founder member of the charity, Sport at the Service of Humanity, a Board Member of the International Masters Games Association and serves on advisory boards for a number of other organisations.
