Andy Hunt

Andy Hunt is a leader in international sport, former CEO of World Sailing and CEO of Team GB, with over 30 years of business and sports success.

Andy led World Sailing from 2016-2020, overseeing the modernisation and transformation of ISAF into World Sailing, a contemporary and progressive international sport governing body. Andy was pivotal in establishing World Sailing as the number one International Federation across global sport for sustainability.

Previously Andy had been Chairman and Managing Partner of Progressive Media Group, an International Media and Business Information group of companies.

He was the CEO of the British Olympic Association from 2008–2013, and the Chef de Mission for Team GB in London 2012 leading team GB to their most successful summer Olympics ever.

Andy serves as a non-executive Director of Gloucester Rugby, and previously held the same role at England Hockey until 2023.
